12 months. Real coverage.
Every bike and electrical component we sell comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty. Frame and motor: 12 months. Battery: 12 months or 500 charge cycles, whichever comes first. Brake assemblies and drivetrain consumables: 6 months from delivery.
What's covered
- Manufacturing defects in frame, motor, controller, display, and battery cells
- Premature failure of hydraulic brake assemblies (not pads or rotors wear)
- Faulty wiring harnesses, connectors, or sensor failure within 12 months
- DOA (dead on arrival) — full replacement
What's not covered
- Normal wear: tires, brake pads, chains, cables, grips
- Damage from crashes, modifications, water immersion, or improper use
- Cosmetic scratches, paint chips, decal peeling after 30 days
- Damage from using non-authorized parts (e.g., higher-voltage batteries)
How to claim
- Email info@amperbike.com with your order number, bike model + year, and clear photos of the defect.
- We review (typically within 24 hours) and, if approved, open the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf.
- Resolution: replacement part shipped free, or in case of full bike defects, replacement bike or refund per manufacturer policy.
- Typical resolution time: 5-15 business days depending on part availability.

Going direct to a Chinese manufacturer over email can mean weeks of back-and-forth in broken English, photo demands, and shipping disputes. We do this professionally on your behalf — we have direct relationships with the brands, photo evidence packages they accept, and a track record of getting claims resolved.
